I had read about this a couple of different places, but this seems to be someone who MIGHT ACTUALLY know what they are talking about.  Since SO MANY people were "PUT OFF" by Stappy's alleged actions at the Las Vegas show and were talking about it, that may have had SOME bearing on the band's decision to do the Fan Appreciation Concert.  In his defense, though, the man was SICK.  I am not in a really good mood when I am sick, I know that.

"let me fill you in on something. MY FRIEND was the one with the bears. She brought four of them, one for each band member-they were made special for them.

The bear was first tossed onto the catwalk before Stapp was even on it. Lonnie removed that bear. The next bear was tossed onto the catwalk, not at Stapp, but onto the catwalk as he was approaching the end of the catwalk. I use the word tossed becuase the fan with the bears was dead center in front of the catwalk, so she only had about four feet to toss the bear. Stapp knelt down, picked up the teddy with his hands and PELTED it back at the person who tossed it up there, thus hitting the fan in the chest area with the teddy bear. The bear was then thrown back, where he proceeded to kick it into the pit. It is my understanding that most of the pit goers were in absolute complete shock at his behavior. I was told that you had to be close to actually see what had happened and thats what happened. After the show, the pitter who caught the kicked bear, returned it to my friend and exclaimed that she had lost respect for stapp after that.   I think i may have to. I just wanted to clear the air here.     -singtomestapp @ Creed Chat  Creed-fanatic.com"
